Actor Aly Goni was criticised by netizens on Wednesday after he shared a picture of his girlfriend, actress Jasmin Bhasin, on Instagram, along with the caption, "Kya Jasmin chapri hai?" While it seemed to be an inside joke, it didn't go well with fans, who called it "disrespectful". "An absolute red flag," netizens wrote.

Actor Aly Goni was criticised by netizens on Wednesday after he shared a picture of his girlfriend, actress Jasmin Bhasin, on social media and called her "chapri". His comment did not go well with netizens and they slammed him for "disrespecting" his partner on a public platform.
It all began after Aly took to his Instagram handle on Tuesday night and dropped an old picture of Jasmin, wearing a white crop top with low-waist jeans and flaunting her slender waist. Along with the photo, the Yeh Hai Mohabbatein actor wrote, "Kya Jasmin chapri hai?", accompanied by a laughing emoticon.
He also added the poll feature on the picture, asking fans to reply in Yes or No.
While it seemed to be an inside joke, as Jasmin too shared a similar post for Aly on her Instagram handle, it disappointed the couple's fans. "He is so disrespectful," a comment read, while a netizen called it "second-hand embarrassment". "Absolute red flag," a netizen wrote.
For those unversed, Jasmin and Aly met in 2018, before heading to Argentina together for Khatron Ke Khiladi 9, and they soon became best friends. While there were rumours of the two dating, they kept denying the claims until 2020, when they confessed their love for each other inside the Bigg Boss 14 house.

The two have been going strong ever since, and they are also set to move in together in June. In fact, reports of the two getting married by the end of this year had surfaced online, but both of them denied it, stating that they would themselves announce it to the world when the time arrives.
Speaking on their decision to move in together, Aly admitted, "It is a very big step for me because I have never lived with anyone. I took a lot of time to adapt to this idea, which Jasmin has been suggesting."
