She went on to say, "I am all positive and determined to face this and walk out stronger InshAllah! With my entire family being by my side and All the LOVE and PRAYERS pouring in from all of you I will sail through this too! Keep me in your prayers! (sic)."

Cancer has not spread in her body: Shoaib Ibrahim

As soon as she shared the news with her fans, prayers and concerns flooded her social media. To provide more relief to fans and friends, Dipika's husband, Shoaib Ibrahim, uploaded a late night vlog on their YouTube channel, in which he explained that the cancer had not spread in Dipika's body.

"The doctors have conducted all necessary tests, and by the grace of God, the cancer has not spread in her body and is just restricted to the tumour. She will be fine once the tumour is removed through surgery, Inshallah," he stated.

Dipika and Shoaib had earlier revealed that she could not undergo the surgery that was scheduled for this week as the Sasural Simar Ka actress was down with flu. However, the couple reassured in the vlog that the surgery will be conducted as soon as the doctors declare Dipika fit for it.

"Every person faces challenges in life and this is the biggest challenge in ours. But the doctor has said that I'll be completely fine once the tumour is surgically removed, and we have placed our trust in him and God," Dipika said.
