'Difficult Day For Family': Singer Pawandeep Rajan's Team Issues FIRST Statement After Car Accident In Uttar Pradesh
Singer Pawandeep Rajan met with a serious car accident near Moradabad on May 5 while en route to Delhi. He sustained multiple fractures and underwent a six-hour surgery. Currently under observation, his team said, "He was struggling with severe pain and unconsciousness, a very difficult and hard day for the family," confirming he will need another surgery soon.

Singer Pawandeep Rajan, who gained widespread recognition after winning Indian Idol Season 12, was involved in a serious car accident on Monday at 3:40 a.m. near Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, while he was on his way to Delhi to catch a flight to Ahmedabad for an event. A video circulating on social media showed that he had suffered several injuries. Now, on Tuesday, Pawandeep's team issued the first statement following his accident, revealing a health update after fans expressed concern.
His team wrote, "Hi Everyone, as you all are aware that Pawandeep Rajan met with a tragic road accident on 5th May early morning near Moradabad, UP while he was on his way to Delhi to catch a flight to Ahemdabad for an event. Initially, he was operated at a near by available facility but later he was shifted to a better hospital in Delhi NCR."

Further, the statement revealed that the singer suffered multiple major fractures along with a few minor injuries. "Yesterday was a very difficult and hard day for the family and all his well wishers. Whole day he was struggling with severe pain and unconsciousness," the statement added
Pawandeep's team shared that on Monday, he was taken into the operation theatre around 7 p.m., and after a six-hour surgery, some of his major fractures were successfully operated on. He is currently in the Medical ICU under observation. After 3–4 days of rest, he will undergo another surgery to treat the remaining fractures and injuries.
Furthermore, his team expressed gratitude to the singer's fans, writing, "It's because of the unconditional blessings & support from all his fans, family, friends and well wishers around the world that he is doing absolutely fine now. Thank you everyone from the bottom of our heart for keeping Pawan in your prayers."
