Did Deepika Padukone Leave Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit Because Of Bold Scenes With Prabhas?

A few days ago, there were reports that Deepika Padukone is no longer a part of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Spirit as the filmmaker was not happy with the actress’ demands, like she would only work for eight hours, wouldn’t speak Telugu dialogues, high remuneration and profit share. While there’s no confirmation about these reports, soon it was announced that Triptii Dimri will be seen as the female lead in Spirit opposite Prabhas. Now, according to a report in Pinkvilla, the cop drama will have A-rated bold sequences.

A source told the portal, “While the story-telling of Spirit is that of a quintessential Telugu entertainer, that has all the hero moments, the filmmaker is bringing a twist to the genre by spinning in an ‘A-Rated’ twist. Apart from the use of ample blood in the action scenes, Spirit will also boost of a lot of bold sequences featuring the two leads.”

“Sandeep Reddy Vanga wanted to cast an actress, who would be comfortable with the sequences written on paper. He has promised a comfortable and professional atmosphere on the sets amidst the shoot to Tripti,” added the source.

The portal has reported that these sequences were on paper when even Deepika was in talks for the film. However, the actress and the filmmaker had agreed to tone it down.

Well, Deepika’s exit from Spirit made it to the headlines for multiple reasons. It was reported that the actress is unprofessional behaviour was one of the reasons for her exit, but fans on social media supported her that whatever she demanded was correct.

Meanwhile, Triptii has earlier worked with Vanga in Animal opposite Ranbir Kapoor. Even in that film, the actress had bold scenes. While making an announcement about Triptii’s casting, Vanga wrote, “The female lead for my film is now official.”
