Dhanush Joins AR Rahman At Mumbai Concert, Surprises Fans By Singing Tamil Song Adangaatha Asuran From Raayan (VIDEO)
Music maestro AR Rahman’s The Wonderment Tour - Global Premiere in Navi Mumbai saw a thrilling moment when Dhanush surprised fans by joining him on stage. The duo performed Adangaatha Asuran from Raayan, composed and sung by Rahman and Dhanush, with lyrics by the actor. Despite admitting he was nervous, Dhanush delivered a power-packed performance alongside Rahman.

Music maestro AR Rahman performed at the D Y Patil Sports Stadium in Navi Mumbai on Saturday as part of his The Wonderment Tour - Global Premiere, captivating a sea of fans. The excitement peaked when Dhanush surprised the crowd by joining Rahman on stage. Dhanush performed his hit Tamil track Adangaatha Asuran from his 2024 film Raayan, with AR Rahman joining him on stage for a powerful musical experience.
The song was composed by AR Rahman, with vocals by Dhanush and Rahman and lyrics by Dhanush. As Dhanush joined AR Rahman on stage, he praised the maestro, saying, "It's unbelievable what you do, sir, and it's amazing, amazing, amazing." In response, Rahman said, "I'm very grateful for you. I'm just going to check the mic. I think he says he's nervous. Look at me. But he's doing it normally. He's doing it normally."
To that, Dhanush humbly added, "Sir, you do it easy, sir. You do it very easy." Rahman then joked with the crowd, "No, no, they won't throw the phone at me. Okay, shall we do the song?"

In March this year, AR Rahman was admitted to a hospital in Chennai after experiencing chest pain. Later, his son, Ameen, provided a health update, revealing that Rahman was hospitalised due to weakness caused by dehydration.
Taking to his Instagram stories, Ameen wrote, "To all our dear fans, family, and well-wishers, I sincerely thank you for your love, prayers, and support. My father felt a bit weak due to dehydration, hence we went ahead and did some routine tests, but I'm happy to share that he is doing well now."
Ameen added, "Your kind words and blessings mean a lot to us. We truly appreciate your concern and continued support. Much love and gratitude to you all!"
On the work front, Rahman is set to compose music for the Dhanush and Kriti Sanon's Tere Ishk Mein, which is a spiritual sequel to the blockbuster film Raanjhanna.
