Dhanush Gets Emotional After Seeing Fans' Reactions To Kuberaa During Surprise Chennai Theatre Visit With Son Lingaa (VIDEO )

Tamil actor Dhanush's starrer Kuberaa hit theatres today, June 20, and has been receiving a positive response from the audience. The film also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna in lead roles. Earlier today, Dhanush, along with his son Linga, surprised fans by visiting Rohini Silver Screens in Chennai to witness the fans' reaction. The actor was seen getting emotional upon seeing their overwhelming response.

In the video, Dhanush looked visibly emotional as the audience screamed and cheered for him during the screening. His son, on the other hand, couldn’t contain his excitement upon seeing his father’s movie and was seen recording the moment on his phone.

Another video doing the rounds on social media shows Dhanush seated in a special area reserved for him, while fans below were seen climbing the wall to catch a glimpse or click a photo with the actor. His security tried to control the crowd, while Dhanush expressed gratitude by joining his hands and waving at the fans for all the love he has been receiving for his role in Kuberaa.

Earlier, talking about his role at the pre-release event of Kuberaa, the 41-year-old actor said, "Director Sekhar Kammula told me the story in just 20 minutes. I agreed immediately, trusting his name and reputation. But in the end, he made me beg on the streets of Tirupati."

Kuberaa, directed by National Award-winning filmmaker Sekhar Kammula. It is produced by Suniel Narang and Puskur Ram Mohan Rao. The film also features Jim Sarbh, Dalip Tahil, Sayaji Shinde, Divya Dekate, Hareesh Peradi, and several others.

The film is presented by Sonali Narang, with music by Devi Sri Prasad.
