Dhanashree Verma Deserved ₹40 Crore Alimony For 'Slut-Shaming' She Faced, Says Influencer: 'Yuzvendra Chahal Wanted Hot Trophy Wife' (VIDEO)
Dhanashree Verma and Yuzvendra Chahal were granted a divorce by a Mumbai family court, with Chahal reportedly paying ₹4.75 crore in alimony. An influencer argued the amount was too low, saying Dhanashree deserved ₹40 crore. She said, "Chahal wanted a hot trophy wife and used his money to attract her. So how is it okay for him to marry for beauty, but not for her to marry for money?"

A Mumbai family court officially granted actress-choreographer Dhanashree Verma and Indian cricketer Yuzvendra Chahal a divorce on Thursday. As per reports, the cricketer paid an alimony of Rs 4.75 crore. However, a social media influencer named Radha claimed that the amount was 'less' and that Dhanashree deserved Rs 40 crore for all the 'slut-shaming' she faced in the past couple of months.
While the internet has been criticising Dhanashree and calling her a 'gold-digger,' the influencer slammed them, stating that Chahal is not a 16-year-old boy from Rajasthan who was forced into marriage but an adult. Nor was Dhanashree a village thakur who kidnapped him and forced him to marry.
The influencer claimed that Chahal could have chosen to marry a middle-class working girl who might not be as 'hot' as Dhanashree, but he wanted a 'hot trophy wife' and used his wealth to win her over.

"How is it okay for him to marry for beauty, but not for her to marry for money? Four crores is too less for all the slut-shaming she had to go through because of so-called fans like you. Just for that, it should have been a minimum of 40 crore," said the influencer.
The influencer further stated, "The only woman you're paying unwillingly is Nirmala Sitharaman, so calm the F down. If Bhai was so concerned about gold digging, why didn’t he use his personality and kind nature to attract a woman? Why did he throw money at all of them? In general, why is it acceptable for rich men to throw money to get girls, but not for girls to use their beauty to get that so-called money? Again, make it make sense," she added.
The former couple, who got married in 2020, have been living separately since June 2022.
