Dhadak 2 Release Date: After Finally Getting Certificate From CBFC, Siddhant Chaturvedi-Triptii Dimri Starrer To Hit The Big Screens On THIS Date
Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri starrer Dhadak 2 is all set to release on August 1, 2025. The film was earlier slated to release in November last year, and later it was pushed to February 2025. However, due to the issues with the CBFC, the certification was delayed. Reportedly, the movie has now received a U/A 16+ certificate from the CBFC.

Dhadak 2 starring Siddhant Chaturvedi and Triptii Dimri was slated to release in November last year. But, later the makers postponed the release date to February 2025. However, due to issues with CBFC, the film was delayed once again. Now, a couple of days ago, there were reports that the movie has received a U/A 16+ certificate from the CBFC, and now, on Monday, the makers announced the release date of Dhadak 2.
Karan Johar, who is producing the film, took to Instagram to share the posters of the movie and wrote, “Marne aur ladne mein se ek chunna ho… toh ladka! #Dhadak2 aarahi hai sabhi cinema gharo mein – 1st August 2025 (If you have to choose between dying and fighting... then fight. #Dhadak2 is coming to all theaters - 1st August 2025).” Check out the post below…
So, Dhadak 2 will release on August 1, 2025. For now, the movie is going to get a solo release.
Cuts In Dhadak 2
Reportedly, Dhadak 2 has received 16 cuts, and changes have been made in the dialogues as well. The movie, which is directed by Shazia Iqbal, is a remake of Mari Selvaraj's 2018 Tamil film Pariyerum Perumal.
The original movie received critical acclaim, and it also did well at the box office. So, let’s wait and watch what response Dhadak 2 will get.
