Chhaava Box Office Collection Day 31: Vicky Kaushal Starrer Beats Ranbir Kapoor's Animal; A Look At Top 5 Highest-Grossing Hindi Films

Vicky Kaushal and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Chhaava even in its fifth week is ruling at the box office. Last week, the film had surpassed the lifetime collection of Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan, and now, it has left Ranbir Kapoor starrer Animal behind. According to Sacnilk, during its fifth weekend, Chhaava collected Rs. 23.15 crore, taking the till date total to Rs. 562.65 crore. Animal, which also stars Rashmika Mandanna, minted Rs. 553.87 crore.

Well, Chhaava has become the third highest-grossing Hindi film. So, let's have a look at teh top five highest-grossing Hindi movies...

Jawan

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawan is the highest-grossing Hindi movie. The movie had collected Rs. 640.25 crore at the domestic box office collection. It is surely a huge number, so it will be interesting to see which movie will break this record.

Stree 2

Yes, Stree 2 is at number 2. The Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao starrer is the second highest-grossing film with a collection of Rs. 597.99. Now, let's wait and watch whether Chhaava will be able to beat Stree 2 or not.

Chhaava

After beating Animal, now Vicky Kaushal starrer Chhaava is the third highest-grossing Hindi film. The movie has collected Rs. 562.65 crore and it is still running in theatres. So, the next film that it needs to beat is Stree 2. Interestingly, both the movies are produced by Maddock Films.

Animal

Two films in the top five highest-grossing movie list features Rashmika Mandannas as the female lead. Animal, which also starred Ranbir Kapoor, was the third highest-grossing Hindi film till last week. But, now it is at fourth position.

Pathaan

Shah Rukh Khan starrer Pathaan was the first Hindi film to enter the 500 crore club, and it collected Rs. 543.09 crore at the box office. But, after that Jawan, Stree 2, Animal, and now, Chhaava has beaten the box office collection the Siddharth Anand's directorial.

It will be interesting to see if any of the upcoming movies will be able to enter this list soon or not.
