On Monday (April 29), the makers of Anupamaa, starring Rupali Ganguly in the lead role, unveiled a new promo titled 'Anupama ka naya safar,' which begins with the mystery of her sudden disappearance. The promo begins with her mother-in-law and other family members searching the house and calling out for her, only to find no trace. The tension rises as they look for clues to her whereabouts.
The clip further shows a poster with Anupama's photo on the wall, and bold letters spelling out "Missing." The promo takes a turn when it shows an upset Anupamaa, sitting alone on a bus, heading to a destination known only to her, hinting at a new chapter in her journey.
Soon after the promo was released, they took to social media to slam the makers of Anupamaa, calling the show 'boring' and even demanding that Anupamaa go off-air.
