Bigg Boss 13's Himanshi Khurana Chooses Rival Shehnaaz Gill Over Ex-Boyfriend Asim Riaz After Breakup (VIDEO)

Punjabi singer Himanshi Khurana, who rose to fame after appearing on the reality show Bigg Boss 13, left everyone shocked when she chose her rival Shehnaaz Gill over her ex-boyfriend Asim Riaz during a fun segment. In 2023, Himanshi and Asim announced their breakup after four years of dating, citing 'different religious beliefs' as the reason.

Recently, Himanshi appeared on the chat show Spotlight With Mandy, where she was asked to choose between Shehnaaz Gill and Asim Riaz. Without hesitation, she quickly picked Shehnaaz and said, "Obviously," while laughing. The host, surprised by her response, covered her mouth and laughed along with Himanshi.

Himanshi entered Bigg Boss 13 as a wildcard contestant, which left Shehnaaz visibly shaken. Gill created a dramatic scene, crying after Himanshi ignored her. She even took off her mic, started pulling her hair, and tearfully complained that Bigg Boss was unfair to her by bringing Himanshi into the house.

It all started after Shehnaaz mocked Himanshi's song during a live video, body-shamed her, and even made derogatory remarks about her mother's character.

Apart from her fallout with Shehnaaz, Himanshi was also known for her close bond with Asim, despite being engaged to her boyfriend, Chow, at the time.

The duo fell in love in the Bigg Boss 13 house. Later, after her eviction, she parted ways with her boyfriend after 9 years and entered Bigg Boss again to express her liking for Asim and since then many fans have referred to them as 'Asimanshi.'

Announcing their split, Himanshi issued a statement, writing, "YES, We are not together anymore, All the time we have spent together has been great but our togetherness comes to an end Now. The journey of our relationship was great and we are moving forward in our lives."

She added, "With due respect to our respective religions we are sacrificing our love for our different religious beliefs. We have nothing against each other. We request you to respect our privacy. Himanshi."
