Bhool Chuk Maaf Box Office Collection Day 3: Rajkummar Rao & Wamiqa Gabbi's Film Maintains Strong Momentum, Earns ₹27.75 Crore

Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's Bhool Chuk Maaf continued its impressive run at the box office over the weekend, collecting an estimated Rs 11.25 crore (India net) on its third day, Sunday (May 25). With this, the film's total domestic net collection stands at a solid Rs 27.75 crore after three days.
According to a report in Sacnilk, Bhool Chuk Maaf registered an overall 30.01 per cent occupancy in the Hindi-speaking market - a steady figure given the competition. Urban centres like Mumbai, Delhi NCR, Bengaluru, Chennai, Jaipur and Pune saw better-than-average attendance, particularly for evening shows.
The comedy-drama, which opened to a warm reception from both critics and audiences, had already earned approximately Rs 16.50 crore over its first two days. Its Sunday performance further strengthened its position at the box office, showing that positive word-of-mouth is translating into footfalls at theatres.
The film clashed with Sooraj Pancholi and Suniel Shetty's Kesari Veer at the box office, However, Sooraj's comeback fim failed to make a mark as it managed to collect only Rs 32 lakh on the third day of its release and its total stands at Rs 80 lakh.
It may also be mentioned that Bhool Chuk Maaf has performed better than Rajkummar's last theatrical release, Vicky Vidya Ka Woh Wala Video, co-starring Triptii Dimri, which had earned Rs 5 crore on its opening day.
The Free Press Journal has given Bhool Chuk Maaf 3 stars and our review read, "Bhool Chuk Maaf is an entertaining romantic-comedy. It is a fun light-hearted movie that you can watch it with your family and enjoy."
Directed by Karan Sharma and produced by Dinesh Vijan under Maddock Films, Bhool Chuk Maaf appears to have struck the right chord with audiences, thanks to its writing, storyline, and engaging performances. It also features Seema Pahwa, Sanjay Mishra, Zakir Hussain, Jay Thakkar, Raghubir Yadav, Ishtiyak Khan, and others.
Bhool Chuk Maaf is expected to maintain its momentum and comfortably cross the Rs 40 crore mark in the next few days.
