'Bharat Mein Kaam Maagne Mat Aajana': Avinash Mishra SLAMS Pakistani Actress Mahira Khan For 'Anti-India' Post After Operation Sindoor
Avinash Mishra slammed Pakistani actress Mahira Khan for calling India’s Operation Sindoor 'cowardly,' warning her not to seek work in India later. "Mahira didi, Pakistan ko blame karne ki zarurat nahi hai hume, evidence pure world ne dekh liye hai," he wrote. He subtly praised her patriotism while taking a dig at Indian celebs he labelled 'gaddar.'

Bigg Boss 18 contestant Avinash Mishra lashed out at Pakistani actress Mahira Khan for her 'anti-India' remarks on Operation Sindoor — a mission launched by India on May 7, during which nine terror launch pads in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) were targeted in retaliation for the April 22 terror attack in Pahalgam that claimed 26 lives.
Mahira called Operation Sindoor 'cowardly,' stating, "India, your war and hate rhetoric has continued for many years… You attack cities in the middle of the night and call it a victory? Shame on you." In response, Avinash took to his Instagram story on Thursday, slamming the Pakistani actress and warning her not to seek work in India once tensions subside.
He wrote, "O Mahira didi Pakistan ko blame karne ki jarurat nahi hai hume, evidence pure world ne dekh liye hai. Bas ab mahool theek hone ke baad hamare BHARAT me kaam maangne mat aajana. But kudos apne country ki side lene ke liye Yaha kuch celebs apne reach aur follower count me gaddar ban rkhe hai But tension nahi baad me unka number bhi lagega."

He also hit back at at Indian actors for not taking a stand for their country and speaking up in support of Operation Sindoor.
Avinash wrote, "Celebrities from across the border – who built their fame on Indian audiences – now calling India’s action against terrorism 'shameful' & 'cowardly' is the height of hypocrisy."
Avinash added, "Where are our celebrities now? If you cannot speak up for your country just to protect your ‘brand’ or follower count, don’t ever pretend to represent India. Silence isn’t neutral. It’s cowardice."
On May 8, the All Indian Cine Workers Association (AICWA) issued a strong statement criticising Pakistani actors Mahira Khan and Fawad Khan, demanding a complete ban on Pakistani artists in India. The association said their remarks were "disrespectful to the nation" and "an insult to the brave soldiers who sacrificed their lives for the country."
AICWA stated that it maintains a "strict and complete ban" on Pakistani artists, filmmakers and financiers from working in India. "No Indian artist will collaborate with any Pakistani talent, nor will any global platform be shared with them," the statement read.
