Ranveer Allahbadia, aka BeerBiceps, recently landed in legal trouble for asking a contestant on Samay Raina's India's Got Latent, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day or join them to finish it once and for all?" While this wasn't his original question, an old video has resurfaced where comedian and actor Kanan Gill asked the same crass question to Jackky Bhagnani and Lauren Gottlieb during the promotions of their film Welcome to Karachi on his show in 2015.

In the viral video, Kannan asked, "Would you rather watch your parents have sex every day for the rest of your life or join in once to stop it?" Jackky and Lauren laughed without answering, but Gill forced them for a response, saying, "You have to answer it, guys."

Check out the viral video:

The question was first asked on the Australian comedy series Truth or Drink, hosted by Sammy Walsh, to comedian Alan Fang.

Following multiple FIRs and backlash, Samay broke his silence on the Latent controversy on Wednesday, announcing that he has decided to delete all episodes of India’s Got Latent from his YouTube channel amid growing backlash.

He said, "Everything that is happening has been too much for me to handle. I have removed all Indias Got Latent videos from my channel. My only objective was to make people laugh and have a good time. I will fully cooperate with all agencies to ensure their inquiries are concluded fairly. Thank you."

Ranveer on Friday approached the Supreme Court seeking the clubbing of multiple FIRs filed against him in connection with allegedly obscene comments made by him on Latent.
