Singer Neha Kakkar, who performed at New Horizon College of Engineering in Bengaluru on Monday (July 7), is getting brutally trolled on social media for her choice of outfit. She took to Instagram to share several photos in which she is seen rehearsing before performing live on stage.

In the photos, Neha is seen wearing a white full-sleeve fitted crop top layered with a blue bralette-style top over it. She's styled her look with baggy grey sweatpants worn low-waisted, allowing the waistband of her blue track shorts to peek out.

While the singer gave a sporty and bold fashion statement and a streetwear vibe, she was trolled for the attire. A section of social media users criticised her for wearing a bra over her top.

"Has she done anything that ever made sense?" asked another user.

"I remember Mallika Sherawat did this in a movie. She can pull it off. This looks like a bachchi mummy k kapde pehanke pretend play kar rahi hai," another comment read.

Another troll commented, "So this is how female version of chapri looks like."

"She was getting late for her show and didn’t wanted to create another drama. So she wore whatever she found in whatever order she found them," wrote another user.

"Superman wear underwear on his pants now super lady wearing bar on top. And for a show in a college. Setting great example for future generations. Huge disappointment," a user commented under Neha's post.
