Aruna Irani Gets Injured After Falling In Bangkok, Spotted In Intense Pain As She Returns To Mumbai In Wheelchair (VIDEO)

Veteran actress Aruna Irani, last seen in Binoy Gandhi's Ghudchadi, recently sustained injuries after a fall in Bangkok, Thailand. While she hasn’t shared details, she returned to Mumbai after weeks of rest. Seen in a wheelchair, she is reportedly in pain. The 78-year-old actress is currently recovering under expert medical care.

Veteran actress Aruna Irani, who was last seen in Binoy Gandhi's Ghudchadi, recently injured herself after falling down in Bangkok, Thailand. While she has yet to share details about the accident, she has now returned to Mumbai after weeks of rest. The news was shared by Vickey Lalwani on his Instagram handle, where Aruna Irani was seen in a wheelchair and on crutches. She is reportedly in a lot of pain.

"Aruna Irani had a fall in Bangkok about two weeks ago. After treatment, the actress was confined to a wheelchair and crutches. Following a certain amount of rest, she returned to India. She has been in a lot of pain, but is now slowly recovering under the guidance of expert medicos in Mumbai," said Lalwani on his Instagram.

On the work front, Aruna is set to return to Gujrati cinema and will star next in Jalso. The film is directed by the talented Rajiv S Ruia. It also stars Hiten Tejwani, Hemang Dave, Bhavin Bhanushali and Puja Joshi.

Jalso is expected to be one of the finest films in Gujarati cinema, though details about the movie remain under wraps.

The actress was last seen in the romantic-comedy Ghudchadi, which also starred Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Parth Samthaan, and Khushalii Kumar in pivotal roles. The film is a remake of the 2023 Bengali movie Love Marriage.

The film was premiered on JioCinema on August 9, 2024.
