Veteran actress and television personality Archana Puran Singh recently gave a fitting reply to an Instagram troll who mocked her family setup by calling her home an "old age home." The comment came under one of Archana's social media posts, where a user questioned why her elderly mother and other senior family members were living with her.
The troll's comment read, "Just for academic interest, why is your Daadu and Naani living together? Is it like an old age home? (sic)."
What may have been intended as a sarcastic remark didn't go unnoticed by Archana, who shut down the insensitive question with grace.
The actress responded, "Just for your academic knowledge: it's not an 'old age' home. It's an Indian home. Let me further give you the definition of an 'Indian home'; it's where elders are loved and respected and kept close to the family."

Archana, known for her quick wit and humour on shows like The Kapil Sharma Show, often shares glimpses of her life at home, including heartwarming moments with her mother, sons, and husband, actor Parmeet Sethi.
Archana and Parmeet tied the knot on June 30, 1992, in a secret wedding ceremony, long before Parmeet rose to fame with his performance in Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995). They kept their marriage under wraps for four years.
They have two sons - Aaryamann Sethi and Ayushmaan Sethi.
The actress is quite active on her YouTube channel, where she often shares family vlogs. They try different dishes at various restaurants in Mumbai and later share their reviews. They also give a glimpse of their daily life.
Archana is currently enjoying a vacation with her family in Switzerland.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Archana was last seen in Shauna Gautam's directorial debut, Nadaaniyan, as Mrs Braganza Malhotra, reprising her role from the 1998 film, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai.
