Anupamaa actor Nitesh Pandey dies of cardiac arrest while shooting in Igatpuri

Actor Nitesh Pandey, who has been a part of some of the most popular television shows and films, passed away in the wee hours of Wednesday.
Pandey died at the age of 51 due to a massive cardiac arrest.

'Nitesh Pandey's family is in a state of shock'
Nitesh's brother-in-law, producer Siddharth Nagar confirmed the news and told Times of India that the actor had no history of heart ailment and that the entire family is in a state of shock due to his sudden demise.
He said that Nitesh's wife Arpita Pandey is shocked and that his father has now gone to Igatpuri to get his mortal remains.

Nitesh was last seen in the popular daily soap 'Anupamaa', in which he played Gaurav Khanna aka Anuj Kapadia's best friend Dheeraj Kumar. While he had an important role to play in the narrative, he had been missing from the show for the past few days as he was busy shooting for another project.
Besides 'Anupamaa', he has also featured in key roles in several daily soaps including 'Pyaar Ka Dard Hai Meetha Meetha Pyaara Pyaara', 'Indiawaali Maa', 'Ek Rishta Saajhedari Ka', and others.
Not just the small screen, but Nitesh won hearts with his charm on the silver screen as well. He is famously known for playing Shah Rukh Khan's assistant in the film 'Om Shanti Om'.
Apart from that, he has also starred in 'Dabangg 2', 'Khosla Ka Ghosla', 'Madaari', 'Badhaai Do', 'Shaadi Ke Side Effects', among other films.
