Singer Aditya Narayan weighed in on the Sardaar Ji 3 controversy, urging Diljit Dosanjh to make 'amends' for casting Pakistani actress Hania Aamir. "For me, it’s always nation first," he said, adding, "Jo galat hai voh galat hai." Aditya acknowledged strained Indo-Pak ties, stating, "It's murky waters… but definitely, it’s always India first. This is my country."

Singer Aditya Narayan addressed the ongoing controversy surrounding Diljit Dosanjh's Punjabi film Sardaar Ji 3, which features Pakistani actress Hania Aamir, urging Diljit to make 'amends.' He stated that while India has always made efforts to mend ties through sports, music, and film, it's time Pakistan takes responsibility, adding that a firm stand for the nation is now necessary.

He told News 18, "I don’t know what I can say or not, but I’m a staunch patriot. For me, it’s always nation first. The country in question (Pakistan)… It’s sort of a habit (of supporting terrorism). As Indians, we spread the message of love and inclusivity. We believe in Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam. But for how long can we tolerate this? It’s unfair and wrong. Jo galat hai voh galat hai. The timing is not right. The atrocities are still fresh in the minds of every Indian."

While Aditya admitted it’s 'difficult' to say whether Dosanjh's decision was right or wrong, he pointed out that when Hania was cast in the film, India-Pakistan relations were not as strained, though, they have never truly been good.
"It’s murky waters, but definitely, it’s always India first. This is my motherland. This is my country," he added.
Aditya added that if he was in Diljit's shoes, he would put India first.
Urges Diljit to make amends
"Make amends, that’s all. It’s a very sensitive topic, and everything gets trolled on the internet, but this is what I believe. We have always been hospitable and collaborative. We still are. Love will always be our message, but there is a limit to tolerance," Aditya concluded.
Sardaar Ji 3 skipped its release in India due to ongoing tensions between India and Pakistan. The film was released overseas on June 27.
