Actress Kunickaa Sadanand Takes Dig At 'Negative' Kangana Ranaut, Calls Her Insecure: 'Every Film Flops, She Cuts Out Roles'
Actress Kunickaa Sadanand called Kangana Ranaut 'negative,' saying, "Uske muh se koi meethi baat nikalti hai kya? Jab dekho bakwas... Kangana jab muh kholti hai toh hugti hai." She added that the Queen actress tries to do everything herself and criticised her, adding, "I don’t know where she gets funding… every film flops."

Actress Kunickaa Sadanand, best known for her performances in films like Daag: The Fire, Pyaar Kiya To Darna Kya, Hum Saath-Saath Hain, Raja Ko Rani Se Pyar Ho Gaya, Page 3, and Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, recently took a dig at Kangana Ranaut, calling her a 'negative' person. She also opened up about why Ranaut doesn't get along with Bollywood celebrities, stating that the film industry had lifted Kangana up and made her a heroine.
While speaking on the Meri Saheli podcast, Kunickaa shared that she dislikes Kangana due to her nature. She added, "Uske muh se koi meethi baat nikalti hai kya? Jab dekho bakwas. She is always negative. Jiss thaali mein khaati hai, ussi thaali mein ched karti hai. The industry lifted her up and made her a heroine. You were an outsider, but you still got a chance, didn’t you? Weren’t Shah Rukh Khan, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, and Irrfan Khan outsiders? Sorry to say but Kangana Ranaut jab muh kholti hai toh hugti hai and I don’t like her. Especially because she talks rubbish about people."

Further, Kunickaa stated that Kangana tries to do everything herself—be it acting, directing, or producing—but should let others do their jobs instead of taking over everything on her own.
"I don’t know where she gets the funding for her films, and every film flops. I mean, I really wish her films were successful because I really admire her as an actor. You got funding for Manikarnika, then you hire a director, but later cut their roles because you are insecure," added Kunickaa.
Kangana Ranaut has not yet responded to Kunickaa Sadanand's remarks.
On the work front, Kangana Ranaut was last seen in Emergency, a film she directed, acted in, and co-produced. The film failed at the box office.
The film was based on the life of the former Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
Emergency also starred Anupam Kher, Shreyas Talpade, Vishak Nair, Mahima Chaudhry, Milind Soman and Satish Kaushik in pivotal roles.
The film released on 17 January 2025. Initially slated for a September 2024 release, it was postponed after failing to meet the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC)’s requirements.
