The series features Eugenio Derbez and Enrique Arrizon in the lead roles. Acapulco is a blend of humour, warmth, and nostalgia. It is set against the lively atmosphere of a luxury resort in 1980s Mexico. Acapulco season 4 will be released on AppleTV+, starting from July 23, 2025.

It is inspired by How to Be a Latin Lover.

Plot overview

The Acapulco is set in the 1980s and revolves around Máximo Gallardo, a young Mexican man who has always dreamed of working at the hottest resort in Acapulco. After his dream comes true, he soon finds out that the job is much more challenging than he ever thought. The trailer shows how he faces challenges in his new job and later finds interest in his love life and proposes to a girl.
