The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has announced the results for the Civil Services Mains Examination 2024. The examination, which was held over five days from September 20 to September 29, 2024, saw the participation of 14,627 candidates. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check their results on the official UPSC websites: upsc.gov.in and upsconline.nic.in.
About UPSC Mains 2024
The UPSC Mains 2024 exam was conducted as part of the selection process for various prestigious services, including the Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS), Indian Revenue Service (IRS), and Indian Foreign Service (IFS). This year, more than 13.4 lakh candidates appeared for the UPSC Preliminary Exam on June 16, 2024. The results of the Mains exam will determine the candidates who will proceed to the next stage of the recruitment process.
Candidates who successfully clear the Mains exam will be required to fill out the Detailed Application Form (DAF) in order to be eligible for the Personality Test (Interview). The schedule for the Personality Test will be released separately by the commission.
