UPSC CSE 2025 Last Date To Apply Extended Till February 21; Check Details

UPSC CSE 2025: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has extended the last date to apply for the UPSC CSE 2025 till February 21. Earlier, the last date to apply was February 18. Interested candidates who have not applied yet for the UPSC civil services preliminary examination 2025 can register online at upsc.gov.in.

The commission has also extended the registration window for the Indian Forest Service (Preliminary) 2025 exam till February 21. Moreover, the correction window will open from February 22 to February 28, 2025. The UPSC preliminary exam will be conducted on May 25, 2025.

This year, over 979 vacant seats will be filled through the examination. Before filling out the application form candidates are advised to read the UPSC notification.

UPSC CSE 2025: Application Fee

General and OBC categories candidates will have to pay Rs 100 as an application fee. For female, SC, ST, and PwBD categories candidates the application fee is exempted. Candidates can make payments through online mode.

UPSC CSE 2025: Exam Pattern

The UPSC Civil Services Examination is conducted in two stages:

- Preliminary Examination (Objective Type): A screening test to qualify for the Main Examination.

- Main Examination (Written and Interview/Personality Test): Candidates who qualify in these stages the final list will be created by the commission.
