UP NEET UG Counselling 2025: The Directorate General of Medical Education and Training (DGME), Uttar Pradesh, announced Round 1 seat allotment results for UP NEET UG Counselling 2025. Allotment is for 85% state quota MBBS and BDS seats in government as well as private medical/dental colleges in the state. What's Next?

Candidates who have been allotted a seat in Round 1 can download their allotment letters from August 18 to 23 and from August 25 to 26, 2025. They need to complete the admission process within this timeframe.

Students not interested in keeping their assigned seat in Round 1 may resign two days prior to the commencement of Round 2 choice filling, to avail a refund. Refund applicability is different:

-Government colleges will issue a refund of the security deposit (minus admission fees).

-Private colleges will issue a refund of the tuition fee.

Who Was Eligible for Round 1?

Those candidates who finished the document verification and also paid the registration fee within the sanctioned deadline were only allowed to submit their college preferences for Round 1.

According to the revised state merit list, 32,230 candidates qualified for counselling this year and 1,531 more candidates were included on the list for state-level seat allotment.
