UP Board Exam 2025: The evaluation process for UP Board class 10 and class 12 answer sheets has been completed by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPPMSP), as per the media report. The assessment process was conducted across 261 evaluation centres which was began on March 19, 2025 set up in all 75 districts of the state.

The board examined 1,74,68,241 answer sheets from High School (Class 10) students and 1,26,79,995 answer sheets from Intermediate (Class 12) students. A total of 1,41,510 examiners were assigned to the assessment procedure, which was carried out under strict security and constant surveillance via CCTV cameras.

To avoid neglect, the Board established explicit procedures. According to the criteria, each examiner received no more than 50 high school answer sheets every day, for a total of 700 for the assessment period. For arts topics, the daily limit was set at 80 sheets, with a maximum of 800. Examiners might analyze up to 45 intermediate answer sheets per day, for a total of 600. Investigators were asked to finish half of their assigned sheets before lunch and the other half later.

UP Board Class 10 and 12 Exam 2025

The UP Board examinations for Class 10 and Class 12 took place from February 24 to March 12, 2025, with only 12 working days. A total of 54,38,597 pupils enrolled for the board exams, including 27,40,151 in Class 10 and 26,98,446 in Class 12. The exams were held in 8,140 venues throughout the state, with 2.91 lakh CCTV cameras placed to maintain thorough surveillance to avoid malpractice.

UP Board Exam 2025: Security maintained

The board implemented several preventative measures to reduce cheating and ensure the integrity of the exams. Exam centres kept a high level of security, which included:

1. Anti-tampering measures include QR-coded and sewn answer booklets.

2. Special teams will monitor social media for any false rumours or exam-related malpractices.

3. Notices were issued to 24 exam centres in 19 districts for violating standard operating procedures (SOP).

4. Quick action against 20 exam centres in 17 districts when CCTV cameras were determined to be inoperable.

5. Five exam centres in five districts were identified and subjected to harsh punishment due to alleged irregularities.
