Today, February 22, the results of the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) December 2024 session were released by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Scorecards for those who took the test are available on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.
The nationwide UGC NET 2024 December test took place from January 3–27, 2025. The UGC NET December 2024 exam, a computer-based test (CBT) that covers 85 courses, was given by the National Testing Agency.

How to check the result:
Step 1: Go to ugcnet.nta.ac.in, the official website of NTA UGC NET.
Step 2: Select the UGC NET December 2024 Result link.
Step 3: Type in your birthdate and application number.
Step 4: To view your scorecard, submit the information.
Step 5: Download the scorecard and print it out for your records.
Passing marks:
Reports state that the minimum passing score for the unreserved category is 40 percent, while the minimal score for the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Caste, and Other Backward Class (Non-Creamy Layer) is 35 percent.

Over the course of nine days, the exam was administered in 16 sessions at 558 locations across 266 Indian cities. There were 849,166 contestants in all. On January 31, 2025, the NTA published the preliminary answer key after the test was finished. By paying a non-refundable cost of Rs. 200 per question, candidates have until February 3, 2025, to voice their reservations.
