SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Notification 2025: Eligibility criteria

As of the deadline, which is August 1, 2025, candidates must have passed the 12th-grade or equivalent exam from an accredited board or university.

SSC Stenographer Grade C & D Notification 2025: Application fees

₹100 is the application fee. Candidates who qualify for reservations and are women, members of Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST), Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD), or Ex-servicemen (ESM) are not required to pay the fee. Only online payments made using BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, or RuPay) are accepted for fees.

SSC Stenographer Grade C & D registration 2025: Correction window

Corrections to the application form can be made between July 1 and July 2, 2025. For the first time, the Commission will impose a uniform correction fee of ₹200 for making corrections and resubmitting the application in its modified or corrected form; for the second time, the fee will be ₹500. All candidates will be subject to the rectification fees, regardless of their gender or category.

SSC Stenographer Grade C & D 2025: Exam Details

The dates of the computer-based test are set for August 6–11, 2025. It will include questions about English language and understanding, general awareness, and general intelligence and thinking. Two hours will pass during the exam. There will only be multiple-choice, objective-type questions on the exam. Both Hindi and English will be used for the questions.
