The Medical Counselling Committee will conclude the extended registration period for the NEET UG Counselling 2025 today, August 3. Candidates can register until 1 p.m. on the official website of MCC at mcc.nic.in.
The counselling timetable has been amended again, and candidates can pay the cost for the first round until 4 p.m. today.
NEET UG Counselling 2025: Timetable
The window for filling out preferences has also been extended to 11:59 p.m. on August 4. The option locking facility will be available tomorrow from 4 p.m. until 11:59 p.m.
On August 5, the MCC will allocate seats for the first round, and on August 6, the results of the allocation will be made public.
Candidates who are selected in the first round must report for admission to the designated institutions between August 7 and August 11.
Note: This year's MCC NEET UG counselling will be conducted in three stages, followed by a stray vacancy round. With the extension of the first round deadlines, the calendar for subsequent rounds may be changed. They are also recommended to study the NEET UG counselling information bulletin before submitting their application.
MCC NEET UG Counselling 2025: Number of seats
The MCC NEET UG counselling is for admission to:
1. 15 percent of all India quota seats, MBBS/BDS seats of states (participation of the union territory of J&K is subject to their contribution of seats).
2. 100 percent MBBS/BDS seats at BHU
3. AIIMS offer 100% MBBS seats across India.
4. 100% JIPMER seats (Puducherry/Karaikal).
5. 100 percent AMU seats
6. 85 percent of state quota seats at DU, IP University (VMMC/ABVIMS/ESIC Dental).
7. 100% Faculty of Dentistry (Jamia Milia Islamia), plus 5% internal quota seats for Jamia students.
8. ESIC has 15% IP quota seats.
