NEET UG 2025: The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025, the country's biggest medical entrance exam, was conducted on May 4, in which almost 22 lakh students appeared. The examination has created a wave of concern and criticism on social media as many aspirants have termed it as the most difficult NEET exam ever.
The social media has been flooded with tweets from outraged students who showed shock at the level of difficulty of the paper, particularly citing the length and complexity of the Biology and Physics sections.
One user wrote, “NTA is playing with the future of NEET-UG 2025 and even JEE students. The Biology paper alone took 1 hour 10 minutes because of its length, and some questions were beyond the NCERT syllabus. Even experienced Physics teachers took over 1 hour 20 minutes to solve the paper.”
Another student questioned the paper setters directly: “Could the thinkers/setters/makers solve the NEET UG 2025 paper in 170 minutes, allowing just 10 minutes for other formalities? This isn’t a complaint—it’s a challenge.”

A more reflective post read, “Every generation faces unique challenges. While earlier exams were tough in their own way, NEET UG 2025 presented a different kind of difficulty.”
Criticism particularly targeted the Physics section, with one user noting, “NEET UG 2025 was especially difficult this year, particularly Physics. This level of challenge doesn’t match the standard format of solving 180 questions in 180 minutes.”
Adding to the chorus, a student quipped, “Paper so goated that even Artificial Intelligence, Google, and teachers failed to solve NEET UG 2025.”
Adding a touch of sarcasm and despair, one user simply wrote: “After NEET UG 2025: Firse drop lu?”
