Choice filling is open from August 8 to 11, and seat allotment results will be announced on August 13. Maharashtra NEET UG 2025 Merit List: The provisional merit list for NEET UG 2025 admissions to MBBS and BDS courses under Group A has been released by the Maharashtra State Common Entrance Test (MHT CET) Cell. More than 60,021 candidates have been found eligible to be called for the first round of counselling. The merit list can now be accessed at medicalug2025.mahacet.org/NEET-UG-2025.
The merit list was drawn up only on the basis of information provided by the candidates at the time of registration. Candidates are now preparing for choice filling, which will be available from August 8 to August 11, 2025.
The seat allotment result will be announced on August 13, with compulsory physical reporting at allotted colleges from August 14 to August 22 (August 15 and 16 excluded).
Special Categories: Documents & Verification
- NRI Quota: The admission will be subject to the approval of the Admission Regulating Authority (ARA).
- PwD Candidates: Validity of eligibility will be confirmed only upon Medical Board verification.
- Reserved Categories: Constitutional and special reservations are all subject to submitting valid documents for verification.
CAP Round I: Seat Confirmation and Upgradation Rules
Seat-allotted candidates have to first verify their allotment themselves by logging in and filing a declaration stating the genuineness of their claims (category, marks, reservation, etc.) and documents.

Based on preferences and options, here's what candidates need to do:
- If allocated other than first preference and wish to keep the seat: Select 'Freeze' option, pay seat acceptance fee, and you will not be eligible for subsequent rounds.
- If not given first preference and wish to have a better choice: Choose 'Not Freeze' option, pay the fee, and you will be considered for upgradation in future rounds.
