Maharashtra FYJC CAP Round 2 Admission 2025 Begins Today At mahafyjcadmissions.in; Here's How To Register

Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025: Maharashtra School Education and Sports Department initiated the CAP Round 2 registration for First Year Junior College (FYJC) Admissions 2025 from today, July 10, 2025. Applications are open for eligible students until July 13, 2025, through the official portal at mahafyjcadmissions.in.

In Round 2, students need to choose a minimum of one and a maximum of ten junior colleges. Students who did not accept admission in CAP Round 1 can also make changes to their stream and college preferences.

The seat allotment for Round 2 will be announced on July 17, 2025. The students who get selected will be notified through their student or college login as well as SMS alerts.

As soon as the allotment is made, students should report at the allotted colleges from July 18, 2025, to July 21, 2025. In this period, they are supposed to upload documents for admission completion.

Post Round 2, the vacant seat list will be available on July 23, 2025.

In Round 1 of CAP, 5,08,096 students have accepted their seats — 4,32,287 from the normal CAP process and 75,809 from different quota categories. The CAP process for this year has been restricted to five main urban areas:

-Mumbai Metropolitan Region (MMR)

-Pune-Pimpri Chinchwad

-Nagpur

-Nashik

-Amravati

Stream-wise statistics show 3,42,801 students chose science, 1,49,791 chose arts, and 1,39,602 chose commerce.

Step 2: Click on the link Maharashtra FYJC Admission 2025 registration on the homepage

Step 3: A new page will appear on the screen, and candidates will have to enter the required details on the portal

Step 4: Upload the documents and pay the application fees

Step 5: Click on the submit button and save it for future reference.
