Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has launched two new flagship Professional Certificate Programmes in Cybersecurity and Software Development. Applications for the courses are now available, with the first batch commencing on September 1, 2025.
Programme Format & Eligibility
The 12-month programs are completely online, tailored for working professionals, college instructors, and students in engineering who are in their 3rd or 4th year, particularly computer science or related studies majors. The courses will have proctored on-campus exams to maintain academic rigour and integrity.
Curriculum and Learning Approach
Headed by IIT Bombay professors, there are three well-designed courses for each programme. The curriculum is industry-relevant and integrates weekly hands-on labs to mimic actual professional settings and software and equipment widespread in leading technology firms.
