IB Security Assistant Recruitment 2025: The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has started the recruitment process for 4,987 Security Assistant/Executive vacancies in the Intelligence Bureau (IB). The official notice was issued on July 25, 2025, and interested candidates can start applying online from July 26, 2025, through the official websites mha.gov.in and ncs.gov.in. The application deadline will be August 17, 2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Education: Should have passed Matriculation (Class 10) or equivalent from a recognised board.

Domicile: Should have a valid domicile certificate of the state from which they are applying.

Age Limit: Maximum age is 27 years as of August 17, 2025.

Age Relaxation: Available for SC/ST/OBC and other reserved categories according to government norms.

Selection Process

Application Fees

Regarding the application fee, every applicant has to pay Rs 450 as processing fees. Male candidates belonging to General, OBC, and EWS categories will need to pay an extra Rs 100 as an application fee, totaling Rs 550. An online payment has to be made, and it is non-refundable.
