HSSC Haryana CET 2025: The Haryana Staff Selection Commission's (HSSC) Common Eligibility Test (CET) begins today, July 26. This year, about 13.48 lakh candidates have enrolled to appear in the examination, which will be conducted at 834 centres in Haryana. The state government, in order to make the examination process fair and transparent, has adopted stringent precautionary measures.
In view of the exam, officials have announced that all schools in the state will remain closed on Saturday.
For the sake of maintaining law and order, Director General of Police Shatrujeet Kapur has directed top police officers in districts to impose prohibitory orders under Section 163 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023. Such orders will be made within a 500-metre radius of all exam centers, considering issues of public nuisance or potential threats.
Moreover, the parking of vehicles has also been banned within 200 meters of test centers. The local photocopying and printing outlets have also been ordered to close for the day.
DGP Kapur appealed to candidates, their families, and locals to assist the police. He also invited people to report suspicious behaviour to the '112' helpline number or call the nearest police station at once.
