FMGE June 2025 Results Declared; Over 29,000 Candidates Not Qualified

FMGE June 2025 Results: The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has announced the results of the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) of the June 2025 session. Conducted on July 26, the high-stakes screening test was attended by 37,207 foreign medical graduates, a crucial step for them to practice medicine in India.

Among the total candidates, a very small percentage passed the examination. A major 29,327 candidates failed, and 1,168 candidates were noted absent. Additionally, results for five candidates have been withheld, pending decisions from relevant authorities such as the Ethics Committee or courts.

The FMGE is administered twice every year, giving candidates enough chances to clear the test. Candidates who fail to clear the examination can reappear in subsequent sessions. In order to clear the screening test, one needs to score at least 150 out of 300.

No Errors in Question Paper, Confirms NBEMS

After following routine post-exam protocols, the FMGE June 2025 question paper was extensively reviewed by subject matter experts. NBEMS ensured that there were no questions identified to be technically incorrect, which further reinforced the authenticity and impartiality of the screening process, as per the notification.

Scorecards & Certification Process

Shortlisted candidates can download their scorecards from August 21, 2025, through the official NBEMS portal at natboard.edu.in. Yet, these scorecards are going to be accessible only for six months, and candidates are advised to keep a digital copy.

Pass certificates will be provided personally, upon strict identity and credential checks. NBEMS will announce the schedule for the pass certificate distribution separately. Till then, results are deemed provisional.

Applicants whose results are withheld should wait for further notice from NBEMS, depending on their individual cases.
