As the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is to declare the highly anticipated Class 10 and 12 board results this week, students all over India are becoming more and more irked by the absence of an announced date and time. With nothing said so far by the board, social media has been filled with nervous updates, snarky remarks, and plain anger by students who feel they are being kept in the dark.

The uncertainty has triggered stress and panic among lakhs of students and their families, many of whom were expecting the results to be released today based on circulating rumours.

“Wtf is wrong with education system of India??!! Results are never announced on time and also they should set a date for results just like we had in our schools,” one social media user wrote. Venting further, the post read, “Inn logon ke pass nashta pr paise khaane ka time hai but results ke baare mai kuch update krne ka nahi #CBSE #digilocker.”

Another user questioned the board’s sensitivity towards students: “CBSE fails to understand the pressure these small children are going through. Don't plan properly to announce the results for 10th and 12th classes on time. When will you start thinking from children's perspective?”

Humour, too, found its way into the chaos. A widely shared post joked, “Ye CBSE ko itna suspense create karna me kya maza aata hai. Koi crime petrol ka episode hai kya.”

Adding to the digital frustration, one user posted a screenshot of the crashed CBSE website with the caption: “Government Website Getting Crashed In 2025 Is insane.”

With no clarity from the official Twitter handle of CBSE, speculation and guesswork took over. “Bhaiya, I don't think CBSE is doing anything... They are just chilling I guess... No tweet, etc.. But agar aaj Digilocker pe 'coming soon' tweet toh result kal aa skta according to previous data,” another user wrote.

Students also made practical appeals. “@cbseindia29 please announce at least 5 hours prior the results are out,” one student urged, requesting timely information to reduce panic.

CBSE, meanwhile, has advised students to steer clear of fake news and rely solely on the board’s official platforms—cbse.gov.in, cbseresults.nic.in, and results.cbse.nic.in—for updates. To access their mark sheets once released, students will need their roll number, admit card ID, school code, and date of birth.

But until an official announcement arrives, the board’s silence has only amplified students’ stress and social media outcry.
