CBSE Class 12 Chemistry Exam 2025 Paper Analysis: Teachers and Students' Views
Dr. Mayank Agnihotri, PGT Chemistry in VidyaGyan School, Sitapur said, 'The Class XII Chemistry Exam was a student-friendly, NCERT-based paper. The exam strictly adhered to the NCERT textbook and the CBSE structure, ensuring a fair and accessible test for all. The general difficulty level varied from easy to moderate, with the majority of questions being straightforward and familiar to pupils. The examination structure was well-balanced. Importantly, all three sets of Chemistry exam papers were substantially comparable in difficulty and content, assuring consistency among students. Every question was based on NCERT Intext exercises or end-of-chapter questions, emphasizing the significance of textbook-based preparation. The paper leaned slightly toward theoretical concepts, with Inorganic Chemistry questions taken directly from textbook exercises. Organic chemistry was viewed as simple, with predictable and common reaction-based questions. Overall, the Chemistry paper was well-organized, student-friendly, and a confidence booster for individuals taking the board exams.'
Chandan, Student said, ‘The paper was straightforward and clear. Each set featured 4-5 numerical questions, all of which were direct formula-based and required just minor calculations.'
Adarsh, a Student said, ‘Assertion and reasoning questions were easy, allowing pupils to respond confidently. A three-mark question on naming reactions assessed basic organic chemistry knowledge.'
A student Avriti Pathak from Maharaja Agarsain Public School said, "My set was B and the difficulty level was kind of moderate. Most of the mcqs were direct and case-based questions were the easiest for me. Section C had numerical so it took some time but overall in comparison to physics, this paper was a lot easier. Most of the questions were conceptual so someone who hadn't prepared so well could even score atleast 40. I am expecting to score 80+ hopefully if the checking is not too difficult."
Aviral Shrivastava from Maharaja Agarsain Public School said, "Honestly, the exam was a cakewalk! Questions were straight from NCERT, and after that tough physics paper, it was a huge relief. I'm pretty confident I aced it, expecting 60+ out of 70. Attempted all questions, so fingers crossed! The wait for results is killing me, but I'm proud of how I prepared. Bring on the results already!"
