Assam APSC Recruitment 2025: The online application for Agricultural Development Officer vacancies under the state's Agriculture Department has been started by the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC). Eligible and interested aspirants can apply for the same by visiting the official website of APSC at apsc.nic.in or apscrecruitment.in. This recruitment aims to fill 195 posts.

Assam APSC Recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria

The eligibility criteria are as follows:

1. The applicants must be Indian nationals, as specified in Articles 5–8 of the Indian Constitution, and long-term residents of Assam. Aspirants must submit a copy of a genuine permanent resident certificate obtained in Assam for educational purposes or an employment exchange registration certificate as proof of residency.

2. Applicants must complete a BSc in Agriculture or an equivalent degree recognized by the Assam government.

3. The candidate must be between the ages of 21 and 38 as of January 1, 2025. According to the guidelines, the upper age limit will be waived for applicants from the reserved categories.

4. Aspirants will also be required to submit a declaration on "The Small Family Norms" in Form-A when applying for the position.

Assam APSC Recruitment 2025: Application fees

The application fee for the general category is Rs 297.20, for OBC/MOBC is Rs 197.20 and for SC/ST/BPL/PwBD is Rs 47.20. The fee includes the processing fee and the taxable amount on the processing fee.

The fee can be paid online through debit card, credit card, UPI, or net banking.

Assam APSC Recruitment 2025: Selection process

The selection procedure is divided into two stages:

1. Written exam: This stage tests aspirants' knowledge and aptitude. This exam consists of two subjects i.e., general studies and the agriculture sector.

2. Interview: After getting shortlisted from the written exam, applicants need to appear for the interview stage. This phase tests applicants' personality traits, communication skills, and overall suitability.
