New Delhi: Under PM Kisan Yojana, farmers get Rs 6,000 every year in 3 parts — Rs 2,000 every 4 months. The last (19th) installment was given in February 2025. So, the 20th installment is expected in June 2025.

PM Modi had sent the last installment from Bhagalpur, Bihar. Now, media reports say he may visit Siwan, Bihar, on June 20, 2025, and from there, he might release the 20th installment for over 9.88 crore farmers in India.

Do These 4 Things Quickly to Get Your Rs 2,000 on Time

1. e-KYC is Must

To get money from this scheme, farmers must complete e-KYC. If not done, the money can be stopped. You can do e-KYC at pmkisan.gov.in or at your nearest CSC center.

2. Land Verification is Important

Your name must be on your farmland documents. These records should be updated in your state’s land record system. In many states, farmers must also register in the Farmer Registry system to get PM Kisan money.

3. Aadhaar Must Be Linked to Bank Account

The Rs 2,000 goes only to bank accounts linked with Aadhaar. Also, the account should be correctly mapped in NPCI. Visit your bank and check if everything is linked.

4. Check Your Status on the PM Kisan Portal

Sometimes, technical or document problems stop the payment. Visit the PM Kisan portal and check “Beneficiary Status” and “Payment Status” to avoid any issues.
