Market Outlook: Technical Call Of The Day & Top 5 Stocks In Focus For 5th Aug 2025

Nifty index opened positive and steadily rose throughout the day towards 24750 zones. Price action showed support zone defense as buyers emerged precisely at the key technical confluence of the 24550 zones and it managed to close near its day’s high with gains of around 160 points. It formed a bullish candle and an inside bar on daily frame. Now if it holds above 24600 zones, then bounce could be seen towards 24900 then 25000 zones while supports are seen at 24550 and 24442 zones.

On option front, Maximum Call OI is at 25000 then 24800 strike while Maximum Put OI is at 24600 then 24700 strike. Call writing is seen at 24850 then 24750 strike while Put writing is seen at 24600 then 24700 strike. Option data suggests a broader trading range in between 24200 to 25200 zones while an immediate range between 24500 to 25000 levels.

S&P BSE Sensex index opened on a flat to positive note and traded with volatility in the first hour of the session. In the latter part the index moved higher bouncing from its strong support of 80500 zones. Every intraday minor dip was bought indicating support based buying. It formed an inside bar on daily frame indicating buying at support levels with limited upside. It finally managed to close above 81000 level with gains of around 420 points. Now if it manages to cross and hold above 81200 zones strength can we seen towards 81500 and 81800 zones, else weakness can be seen towards 80700 and 80500 zones.

Bank Nifty index opened on a negative note but witnessed a sharp uptick in the initial hour of the trade as it tested 55750 zones, however it failed to sustain at higher levels and drifted towards 55550 zone. Post the initial volatility the index traded within a band of 200 points for the entire session. It formed a Doji candle on the daily scale and continued the lower highs formation of the last few session and closed below its 50 DEMA for the third straight day. Now till it holds below 55750 zones some weakness could be seen towards 55250 then 55000 zones while on the upside hurdle is seen at 55750 then 56000 levels.

Nifty future closed positive with gains of 0.71% at 24803 levels. Positive setup seen in AB Capital, UPL, Delhivery, JSW Energy, Hero MotoCorp, Jindal Steel, Polycab, Jindal Stainless, Poonawalla Fincorp and JSW Steel while weakness in ABB India, CESC, Godrej Consumer, NCC, Power Grid, Siemens, Tata Power, OIL India, ONGC and HDFC Life.

BEL - TECHNICAL CALL OF THE DAY

The stock is comfortably trading above its 100 and 200 EMA levels on the daily chart which reflects strength over a medium term basis. The stock has taken strong support around 375 levels and has bounced from those levels 3-4x in the past. The current RSI of 43 shows that the stock is near to its oversold territory and a positive RSI divergence is also visible on daily charts reflecting bullish implications.

DLF:

New sales bookings for Q1FY26 stood at Rs 11,425 crore, reflecting a YoY growth of 78%. Encouraging response to its latest luxury launch - DLF Privana North, reaffirmed sustained demand for high quality developments backed by a strong brand and superior execution capabilities. DLF has reported consolidated revenue of Rs 2,981 crore, EBITDA of Rs 628 crore, Net Profit at Rs 766 crore reflecting a growth of 19% YoY and has a net cash position of Rs 7,980 crore.

Siemens Energy:

Siemens Energy reported strong results for the quarter ended June 2025. Revenue from operations grew 20% YoY to Rs 1,785 crore as compared to Rs 1,484 crore in June 2024 while the net profit of the company surged 80% from Rs 146 crore in June 2025 to Rs 263 crore in June 2025. New orders during the quarter were up by 94% YoY to Rs 3,290 crore. New Orders growth was primarily due to large orders received given the robust demand both in domestic as well as export markets. Revenue has developed well on the back of a strong and healthy order backlog.

Further, Siemens Energy has announced investment of Rs 280 crore in a phased manner in manufacturing capacity expansion of High-Voltage Switchgear products at its Aurangabad factory to meet the growing demand for power transmission equipment, both in India and globally.

Remson Industries:

Remsons-Uni Autonics Private Limited, subsidiary company of Remson Industries has received a Purchase Order worth Rs 3 crore from a premier German Multi-Brand OEM for the supply of Exhaust Gas Recirculation (EGR) Sensors. The supply for the same will start from December 2025 and the time period to complete the same is 36 months. 

Aurobindo Pharma:

Aurobindo Pharma reported a mixed Q1FY26 performance, missing consensus estimates across key metrics. Net profit declined 10.2% YoY to Rs 824.2 crore, below the expected Rs 919.3 crore. Revenue rose 4% YoY to Rs 7,868 crore, falling short of the projected Rs 8,215 crore. EBITDA slipped 1% to Rs 1,603 crore, with margins contracting to 20.3% from 21.4%, also below expectations. Despite the subdued earnings, the company declared an interim dividend of Rs 4.00 per equity share and fixed 8th August 2025 as the record date. 

Bosch:

The Board has approved investment of an amount not exceeding Rs 40.50 million in Special Purpose Vehicle JSW RENEW C&l ONE LIMITED by way of subscribing to Equity Share Capital, in one or more tranches, constituting 26% of Equity Share Capital corresponding to the contracted capacity in the 12.66 MWdc Group Captive Solar Power plant in the state of Maharashtra. The objective behind this acquisition is to secure green power at cheaper cost. The target entity to obtain statutory approvals from MERC, MSEDCL, concerned DISCOM or such other statutory authorities.
