Kia Launches Upgraded Carens Clavis; Bookings For Premium MPV Ongoing

The most-awaited Carens Clavis has been launched in India by Kia at a starting price of Rs 11.50 lakh(ex-showroom). Since 9 May, Bookings For the Premium MPV are already ongoing. The official website and dealerships of that brand is looking after this. The MPV, with the Carens name, brings design, interior, and features upgrades.

The Kia Carens Clavis MPV has a new design. Its rugged look comes from the front fascia hosts elements like three-pod LED headlights, caged in a triangular housing, the black cadding with silver skid plates, V-shaped LED DRL's, a blacked-off grille. This brings about a fresh appeal along with an LED light strip as compared with the last model.

The Carens Clavis has ventilated front seats, redesigned AC vents and controls for the automatic air conditioning, a dual pane panoramic sunroof, four-way power adjustable seats, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, an 8-speaker Bose sound system, and more.

Carens Clavis features a 22.62-inch dual-screen setup. This same setup is used in Seltos, which consists of a 10.25-inch digital instrument panel and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment display.

The Kia Carens Clavis MPV gets seven trim options in the catalogue- HTE, HTE(O), HTK, HTK(+), HTK(O), HTX, and HTX+.

₹11.50 lakh is the starting price of the Carens Clavis. It hikes up ₹18 lakh.

It is equipped with ADAS Level 2, which features 20 autonomous safety functions. Its features consist of standard 6 airbags, electronic parking brake with auto hold, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, lane keep assist, smart cruise control with stop and go, blind spot collision warning, and more.

The Kia Carens Clavis introduces itself with three engine options- a 1.5-I turbo petrol engine, it gives out 157 hp and 253 Nm of torque, a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine-113 hp and 143.8 Nm, and a 1.5-liter diesel engine which gives out 113 hp and 250 Nm of torque.
