BSE Calls For Demat Auction Offers, Auction Linked To DR-629 Settlement
BSE has invited bids from trading members for a demat auction under settlement DR-629. The auction happens on May 15, 2025, with pay-in on May 16. Members must follow timing, enter details carefully, and check for corporate actions.

Mumbai: BSE Limited has announced a Demat Auction related to Rolling Settlement No. DR-629/2025-26. This auction will take place on Thursday, May 15, 2025, and is open to all trading members of the Exchange.
The auction process will be held in different sessions:
Auction offer entry: from 2:00 p.m. to 2:45 p.m.
Auction matching: from 2:45 p.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Delivery statements and reports: from 3:00 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Final money statements and reports: from 3:35 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
The Pay-in of securities for the accepted offers will be done on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 8:00 a.m.
Members and custodians must check their obligations and complete the securities pay-in within the time limit set by depositories.
As per the new rules under the Uniform Membership Structure, trading members can now participate in the auction even if they short-delivered the same security earlier in the same settlement.
Members must be very careful while entering details like the security code and rate. No corrections will be allowed once the offer is entered.
Also, before placing offers, trading members should check for corporate actions such as Ex-Bonus, Ex-Rights, or Stock Splits that may affect the securities.
The Exchange may accept or reject any offer without giving a reason.
