The BSE reminds members that, with the implementation of the Uniform Membership Structure, settlements now take place via the clearing member of the trading member. A previous restriction, which prevented members from offering securities in auctions where they had short-delivered, has been lifted.
Members must be very careful when entering security codes and prices, as no corrections will be allowed. The Exchange also reserves the right to reject any offers without explanation.
Traders are advised to refer to cutoff rates on the Auction Offer Entry Screen and stay updated on corporate actions like ex-rights, ex-bonus, or ex-splits that affect securities.
