Arkade Developers Buys Iconic Filmistan Studios In Mumbai For ₹183 Crore, Plans Luxury Residential Towers

Mumbai: Arkade Developers Limited, a real estate company listed on BSE and NSE, has entered into a binding agreement to acquire the entity 'Filmistan Pvt Ltd', for a total outlay of ~Rs 183 crores. This acquisition will enable Arkade Developers to develop the iconic 4-acre land parcel situated on SV Road in Goregaon West, popularly known as ‘Filmistan Studios’.

Scheduled for a tentative launch in CY-2026 the planned uber-luxury residential development will feature spacious 3, 4, and 5 BHK residences along with exclusive penthouses, across two striking high-rise towers of 50 storeys each. With a projected Gross Development Value (GDV) of Rs 3,000 crore, the project is poised to become a landmark in premium housing in Western Mumbai.

Earlier this, the developer acquired redevelopment rights of a strategically located society in Bangur Nagar, Goregaon West. Spread across 1.1 acres, the site offers estimated revenue potential of Rs 350 crores. The project will feature a mix of residential and commercial spaces, further strengthening its footprint in the Western suburbs.
