The pilot plant features a fully automated, closed-loop electrolyser system that adapts in real time to changes in solar energy availability. This design ensures high efficiency, safety, and reliability, even with the variable nature of renewable power.
This milestone supports India’s National Green Hydrogen Mission (NGHM) and the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat by reducing dependence on imported fuels and promoting energy self-sufficiency. It also strengthens India’s position in the global green hydrogen market.
The facility showcases technical feasibility for using green hydrogen in heavy industries like fertilisers, refineries, and transportation, which are hard to decarbonize. It also sets the stage for Adani’s upcoming Green Hydrogen Hub in Mundra, Gujarat.
This pilot demonstrates not only innovation in clean energy but also Adani Group’s commitment to sustainability and leadership in the emerging green hydrogen economy.
