Zomato Delivery Boy Robbed On Gwalior Bypass While Traveling To Mumbai |
Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh): A delivery boy was robbed of his bike and his backpack on the Sirol bypass of the Gwalior on Sunday night.
Victim Ajit Dubey, a resident of Sundarpur village in Kannauj district of Uttar Pradesh, works as a delivery boy in Zomato company in Mumbai. He was travelling to Mumbai by his bike when this incident took place.
Accused were following the victim
Ajit Dubey left for Mumbai from his village on Friday night. He was going via Gwalior and Bhind. When he reached near Haveli Hotel on Sirol bypass, he stopped the bike to go to the washroom.
He hung his delivery bag on the bike handle and went to the washroom. But he did not know that some miscreants were already following him.
As soon as Ajit returned from the washroom, he saw that both his bike and bag were missing. On looking around, he saw two people running away on a bike. He immediately chased them but the miscreants escaped at high speed.

The victim Ajit immediately informed the police about this. As soon as the information was received, Sirol police station reached the spot and an FIR was registered.
The police is now scanning the CCTV footage and investigating the entire bypass area to identify the accused. This incident raised the questions on the safety of passengers.
