Youth Caught Posing As BSF Havildar Near Gwalior Head Quarter After Failing Recruitment Exam, Was Lying To Parents

Youth Impersonating BSF Jawan Caught Near Gwalior's BSF Headquarters, Raises Security Concerns Amid Indo-Pak Tension | FPJ
Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A youth was caught late Sunday night roaming in a fake BSF uniform with a Havildar rank badge near the BSF Tekanpur Headquarters.
He had failed the BSF recruitment process but was pretending to his family that he had been selected. Police took him into custody and are investigating the matter.
The accused apprehended from the Bilua police station area is identified as Rahul Jatav, a resident of Mainpuri district in Uttar Pradesh. Jatav was stopped during a routine police patrol. Upon being asked for identification and documents, Rahul appeared nervous and failed to provide any identification.

After a search of his belongings police recovered one BSF Havildar uniform and pair of clothes. Rahul failed to verify the name of the BSF personnel's identity he claimed was his brother and couldn't produce any BSF identification.
According to police investigation, Rahul attempted for BSF recruitment exam earlier but failed to clear it, Despite being rejected he kept wearing BSF uniform in front of his family and relatives to keep up with the lie. He would travel from his home dressed in uniform, posing as an on duty soldier.

However, police have expressed major concerns due to the incident occurring near a high-security area, especially in the context of heightened tensions between India and Pakistan.
While no weapons or surveillance equipment were found on Rahul, authorities are not ruling out deeper motives and has confisicated the uniform
"On the instructions of Gwalior SSP, special patrolling is being done around BSF Tekanpur headquarters. Bilua Police Station in-charge Ila Tandon added "In view of India-Pakistan tension after India's 'Operation Sindoor', every suspicious activity around the BSF campus is being monitored."
The cops are trying to initiate a probe on how did the youth obtain the BSF's uniform and bag, and whether there was any assistance from inside sources.
