Jabalpur (Madhya Pradesh): A man brutally beat a dog with a stick after he got irritated over the constant barking in Jabalpur on Tuesday. However, the accused, in front of the police, claimed that he got aggressive only after the dog bit him.
The incident was caught on CCTV installed in the area, which is circulating widely on social media.
In the video, the man can be seen brutally beating the dog, while the helpless animal barks in pain. A woman is also seen in the footage, directing the man toward another side, after which he walks away, seemingly to target another dog.

The incident is of Jabalpur's Dhanashree Residency, under madotal police station area. The clip shows a man brutally beating a dog with a stick just because it was barking at him.
The shocking footage has sparked outrage among locals, who immediately filed a police complaint against the accused.
According to the police, both parties came to the police station regarding the incident. One side claimed that their neighbor’s dog had bitten them, which led to the attack on the animal.
However, the police registered a case under the ST/SC Act against the residents who had opposed the incident. And no action was taken against the one who beat the dog, under animal cruelty act.
This unexpected move has left the locals angry and demanding justice for the dog and fair action against the accused.
The case has now become a heated issue, with people questioning the police’s handling of the situation.
