VIDEO: Youth Brazenly Flaunts 'Desi Katta' On Instagram Reel; Vigilant Police Traces Location To MP's Gwalior To Arrest Him
The video, reportedly recorded by the youth himself, was later uploaded to his Instagram account

Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): An Instgram reel has gone viral on social media, showing a youth brazenly flaunting illegal katta (gun) and cartidge. The youth's location was traced in Madhya Pradesh's Gwalior.
The reel has sparked concerns about easy availability of lethal weapons and their negligent use.
After the clip started making rounds on social media, local police swung into action. Officers say that a growing number of youngsters are treating illegal firearms like fashion accessories—posing with them for social media clout. Many are chasing likes, views, and online attention, completely ignoring the legal consequences.
Despite earlier crackdowns, the trend seems to be on the rise. Now, police is preparing to take strict action against the youth seen in the video, and an investigation is already underway.
This isn’t an isolated case. In the Chambal region, making Instagram reels with pistols and guns have almost become a daily affair among some youth. It has now turned into a serious concern for law enforcement. The bigger question, however, remains—where are these weapons coming from, and how are they ending up in the hands of teenagers?

To counter this, police have formed dedicated teams to monitor social media. These teams keep an eye on reel content, and whenever such videos surface, tracing the uploader becomes the top priority. In the current case, police say the youth will be tracked down and arrested soon.
