Gwalior (Madhya Pradesh): A case of violence was reported in Madhya Pradesh’s Gwalior, where 4 men brutally assaulted a youth publicly and dragged him down the slope over a dispute.
The incident took place in Sevanagar Pahadi area under the Gwalior police station. It was also recorded in a video which is doing rounds on social media.
According to information, the victim has been identified as Mathri, while the main accused is his friend Bunty Yadav.
Earlier, the two had gotten into a fight while drinking alcohol. In a drunken state, Mathri had slapped and beaten Bunty.
Seeking revenge, Bunty returned later with his brother and friends. They barged into Mathri’s house and assaulted him up badly. They then dragged him down a slope outside his house for a long distance.
When some women tried to stop them, the attackers pushed them away and also allegedly misbehaved with them.
During the attack, Mathri suffered serious injuries, including a broken bone. He is currently being treated in the hospital.
Bunty, on the other hand, has claimed that Mathri had attacked him with a knife. Both parties have filed complaints against each other at the police station. The police are investigating the matter and also checking the criminal records of everyone involved.
